In the mining production, ground-stress is gradually increased with the mining depth, in which condition brittle and plastic rock is tend to be failure. Geo-dynamic disaster such as rock burst and Geo-movement engineering treatment such as supervising, early warning and prevention technologies are belong to dynamic rock mechanics areas. Also these problems are suggested to be solved by researchers. In the consideration of inertial effect under dynamic loadings, taking the stress wave propagation into consideration is important to the research on the areas of dynamic rock mechanics. In recent years, SHPB experimental technique is widely applied to the research on rock dynamics. In addition, with the development of computer science, Simulation methods are also applied to rock mechanics areas.In this article, the research is carried out from two aspects:physical experimental and simulation. At first, Brazilian disc SHPB test is done by Pendulum impact loading device and three kinds of designed hammers, through which can get regular results. On the other hand, Brazilian disc simulation test can be done under RFPA2D-Dynamics software developed by Northeastern University. The main aspects are as followed:(1) Firstly, taking the stress wave data produced by three kinds of hammers are compared and computed by one dimensional wave software, which can verify the rationality of different designed hammers. Dynamic tensile strengthen of Brazilian disc is studied under different dynamic loadings with three kinds of hammers and the relationship between dynamic rock tensile strengthen and dynamic loadings is found through it.(2) Secondly, failure mode of Brazilian disc should be observed during the test and compared under different impact velocities. Furthermore, this kind of phenomenon can be discussed and related to some results.(3) Through Brazilian disc simulation with RFPA2D-Dynamics software, the time of rock damage appearance and failure appearance can be obtained.In this article, the physical experimental of Brazilian disc is compared with the simulation experimental, which could verify the result rationalities better. Rock failure mode effected by different dynamic loadings are observed through physical experimental, while time of damage appearance and failure appearance can be observed through simulation. These methods are coordinated in order to make the research more overall.
