The wind energy resources of Xinjiang is very rich, but the environment is bad, the dust weather is more.Sand movement can cause strong wind erosion for various objects.The wind power units will suffer from the wind erosion, especially the composite wind turbine blades.And long-term wind erosion will cause the material failure and scrap.In the course of the operation of wind turbine,the blades not only bear the load of the complex, but also resist the erosion of the sand.For the special case of Xinjiang,This paper mainly studied the erosion wear behavior and mechanical properties of the wind turbine blade composite.The paper will provide a reference for the protection of the blade composite material.Firstly, this paper introduced the development of wind power industry at home and abroad, and the definition of multi-phase erosion wear and its influence factors。And the paper introduced the making process of the glass fiber reinforced resin matrix composites.Secondly, according to the experimental standard of mechanical properties,the hardness of glass fiber reinforced composite was tested by Barker hardness tester, and the mechanical properties of glass fiber reinforced composite was tested by electronic universal testing machine.The values of the hardness, the compression strength and the modulus of the compression, the bending strength and the modulus of the modulus were obtained.Thirdly,according to the three factor three horizontal orthogonal test method,this experiment chose the air velocity, the grain size and the impact angle as the main examination index.The erosion wear tests of the gas- solid two-phase flow and the gas- solid- liquid three-phase flow of the two groups composite samples were carried out by multi-phase erosion test machine.During the erosion test, the quality of the specimens were weighed before and after the erosion.Then weight of grinding loss was calculated.Finally, the erosion pits of the samples were scanned by PGI- meter.The erosion curves of erosion pits were obtained, and the erosion degree of each sample was qualitatively analyzed.The wear morphology of the samples were observed by using field emission scanning electron microscope, and the erosion wear mechanism of the material was analyzed.
