There are various factors that make the system vibration in the process of rolling steel plate,which affects the production efficiency ultimately. So scholars have been committed in the study of the vibration characteristics and control methods for a long time. But the analysis of the vibration characteristics mostly only concentrates the influence of the pure mechanical parameters in the past,and the practice has proved that the electrical parameters and control system parameters have effects on the main drive system of rolling mill. From the electrical system’s and the control system’s perspective, the topic studies the vibration characteristics and control methods of the main drive system of rolling mill.On the problem that the previous researches of vibration characteristics for the main drive system of rolling mill ignore to consider the effects of electrical parameter, an electromechanical coupling model about vibration for the main drive system of rolling mill is established which considers the series capacitors in power network, the rotor resistance, the phase delay, the harmonic disturbances and other electrical factors of the asynchronous motor that combines the mechanical system. Study on the effects about the series capacitors in power network, the rotor resistance, the phase delay, the harmonic disturbances, load disturbances, clearance, friction and so on for the vibration characteristics by simulation, the research conclusion establishes further theoretical basis to analyze, diagnose and control vibration phenomenon in the main drive system of rolling mill.On the problem that the previous researches of vibration characteristics for the main drive system of rolling mill ignore to consider the effects of micro variables in the control loop, a coupling model about vibration based on vector control is established which considers the parameters of the current regulator and speed regulator in the vector control system that combines the mechanical system and the electrical system. Study on the effects about the parameters of the current regulator and speed regulator for the vibration characteristics in the main drive system of rolling mill by matlab/simulink.and analyze the effects of the load disturbances and rotor resistance.Now on the vibration phenomenon of the electromechanical coupling system in the rolling mill,the vector control controller of the double closed loop about the speed and current is improved and ADRC is introduced into the system. The electromechanical coupling system about the main drive system of rolling mill based on ADRC is put forward, which does not depend on the object model and can fully consider the nonlinear factors. Through simulation and comparing with the system of the double closed loop, the results show the tracking performance, the anti-interference and robustness of the ADRC are strong. The control effect is remarkable.
