Owing to the excellent performance, foamed material has been widely used in our daily life. Now chemical blowing agents are mostly used for manufacturing foamed material. Sulfonyl hydrazide blowing agents are widely used because of their large gas evolution, high stability and non-toxic residue, but generally its decomposition temperature does not exceed 150 ℃. It decompose easily advance in the processing of some materials, and ultimately lead to foam all aspects of performance of non-compliance. Traditional sulfonylhydrazide blowing agents are generally used with ADC foaming agent in order to improve its heat resistance.The purpose of this paper is to synthesize a series of new sulfonylhydrazide blowing agents which decomposition temperatures can up to 220 ℃ or more. At the same time they can meet the high glass transition temperature materials processing requirements of the blowing agent. Specific contents are as follows:1. We use benzene, chlorobenzene, toluene and diphenyl ether as substrates to synthesize the traditional benzene sulfonyl hydrazide blowing agents, explore and optimize the synthesis routes, at the same time, considering the effects of solvents, raw material ratio, reaction temperature and reaction time on the yields. Finally product yields get significantly improved than traditional methods after optimizing of the synthesis process.Then they react with hydrochloric acid and sodium cyanate, we get the new semicarbazide sulfonylhydrazide blowing agent system, the yields are all higher than 75% and the target compounds are confirmed by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance and MS.2. Through dimethyl carbonate reacts with hydrazine hydrate, we get carbazide, then it react with sulfuryl chloride, Kabbah hydrazine sulfonylhydrazide foaming agents are synthesized. At the same time, considering the effects of solvents, raw material ratio, reaction temperature and reaction time on the yields, the yields are all higher than 85% and the target compounds are confirmed by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance and MS.3. TG test shows that novel sulfonyl semicarbazide blowing agents and hydrazine procarbazine sulfonyl hydrazide blowing agents’s glass transition temperature are higher than 220 ℃. At last, the above-mentioned blowing agents are all used gas evolution test, the results show that these new blowing agents can release more gas than the traditional sulfonylhydrazide foaming agent about 5%.4. Adding the new foaming agents to an ethylene - vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) foam molding foaming is carried out, experimental results show that the foam density is smaller, but the hardness, tensile strength and fracture extension rate has improved, and perform more excellent than tradition sulfonyl hydrazide blowing agents.
