With the rapid development of manufacturing and processing technology, the surface quality and dimensional accuracy of parts raised higher and higher requirements. In machining centers precision machining level continuing to make high-precision requirements of modern manufacturing, it is an economical and effective means through error compensation techniques to improve the precision of machining center. And the heat is an error accounted for the largest proportion in the error of the machining center, so the machining center thermal error is an important factor of hindering the processing accuracy to improve, and the thermal error compensation is one of the key technologies in the development of high precision machining center. Therefore the analysis of thermal error is very important to ensure the high precision and high quality of machined parts; it is an important technical method to improve the accuracy of machining center by the accurate prediction of the thermal error compensation model and the establishment of effective thermal error compensation of machining center.This subject is a comprehensive compensation technology research plan project "high-end CNC machine tool dynamic support in 2012 in Qinghai province science and Technology Department of science and technology"(project number: 2012-J-107)for modeling and prediction of dynamic thermal error compensation technology part of the sub project of the high-end CNC machine tool. The topic for the thermal error phenomenon in Qinghai a machine production of the VMC750 series of vertical machining center produced in the use process, analysis and test research. The main research contents are as follows:1. A processing center spindle system thermal deformation and heat studies, the establishment of the spindle system by Solidedge model in ANSYS to analyze the thermal characteristics of the spindle system, the main heat source and heat distortion factor derived spindle system impact.2. Thermal error experimental technology machining center spindle system,thermal deformation test spindle system proposed technical solutions, determine thethermal error detection fast calibration method, using MATLAB data analysis software for test data analysis, to find the sensitive point of thermal error compensation and the establishment of a dynamic model of thermal error.3. R & D center spindle machining system thermal error compensation module,using spindle thermal error compensation detection system consists of high-performance single-chip, high-sensitivity temperature sensors, data converters and signal keil C51 thermal error compensation software development consisting of machining center spindle thermal error compensation system for dynamic and effective inhibition of thermal error on the machining accuracy.4. for application of dynamic thermal error compensation technology on the machining center, the above findings and CNC systems integration, application specific tools to achieve high-end CNC machine tools, dynamic thermal error compensation, reduce the influence of thermal error on machining accuracy.
