With the rapid development of automobile industry brings to the automotive textiles broad space for development. Car seat fabric as the body of the car interior trim and build an important part of car interior space environment, is a kind of high performance requirements and specialized industrial textiles.The fire retardant performance as the national mandatory standards for car interior materials, is directly related to the safety of the car use. This topic to a car company D15 project seat fabric development as a case.The selection of 150D/96 f *200D/144 f polyester fiber as raw materials, design and production process: warping-weaving- washing- setting- SR treatment- coating- lamination- embossing- Product inspection. Choose C14H4Br10 flame retardant, through optimizing the experiment, the flame retardant finishing process parameters :the flame retardant dose:25%(O.W.F), NNO: 2.5 g/L, JFC: 1.8g/L, pH of 4 to 5, bath ratio 1:30, processing temperature: 125 ℃, the processing time: 45 min, baking temperature:150℃, the curing time: 3 min. The test results show that the developed flame retardant laminated fabric technical indexes can meet the requirements. The flame retardant finishing of polyester fabric, bromine content on the surface of the fiber has a linear relation with the limit oxygen index, also has a linear relation with flame retardant agent; C14H4Br10 can deal with polyester with disperse dye bath, both good flame retardant effect, influence on dyeing are also small; Were treated with flame retardant polyester fibers, thermal stability, easy to decompose, reduce the formation of combustible gas, at the same time when the combustion decomposition can capture polyester degradation reaction generates free radicals, to slow or stop the combustion chain reaction and flame retardant effect. This project has been through a third party the full range of testing and product review, has started small batch production.
