The south-to-north water diversion project that could solve the serious water shortages situation of our country is a mayor iniative optimizing the allocation of water resources. This project is more than one thousand kilometers from south to north, and meets lots of traffic buildings. So there is a considerable security risk of sudden water pollution accident in it. Furthermore, it maybe burst into cyanobacteria blooms phenomenon in some areas where the velocity is very low. Therefore, it is a necessary to solve the problem that how to prevent and deal with the sudden water pollution accident. According to the relationship between the flow field and absorption effect, this paper is aimed at the flow field of the near oscillation absorption equipment and analyze the absorption effect qualitatively. And then simulate the flow field, analyze the cyanobacterial growth rate under the different water level and floodgate opening.Task group proposes a oscillation absorption apparatus based on the experience of the early demonstration project that use fixed adsorption dam. This paper simulates two kinds of conditions from the point of view that flow field characteristics near the oscillation device. They are experimental device simulation and actual channel simulation. Under the experimental condition design different device arrangements according to the number and spacing of planes, analyze the flow field characteristics of different arrangements, and select the better design. Then simulate and experiment the arrangements of different oscillation frequencies, and make comparative analysis between the simulation results and experiments results. Finally, simulate different design layout schemes based on the actual channel dimension under certain velocity, and obtain the better layout scheme.For open channel flow, the velocity is rather low. Especially for the area front of the gate, because of the barrier of gate, it’s velocity is possibly in the range of critical velocity which leads to cyanobacteria blooms. So this paper is aimed at the velocity field front of the gate, and predicts the area size of the cyanobacteria blooms. In the paper, it includes 16 simulation conditions in line with different water level and gate opening. Firstly, simulate the velocity field of all kinds of conditions by use of FLUENT, then through analyzing receive the critical velocity distribution. At last get the relationship between the critical velocity distribution and the relative degree of opening of the gate using linear regression, which provides a reference for the open gate in the actual situation.
