With the vigorous development of the paper industry, the environmental pollution problems caused by paper industry have become increasingly prominent. The address priority of solving papermaking pollution problems focuses on the treatment of black liquor as black liquor is the main source of pollution for paper industry. This paper analyzes the development of global black liquor treatment technology, specially describing the advantages of the technology of burning black liquor in fluidized beds, concluded that burning black liquor in fluidized beds is the most suitable way for China’s black liquor treatment technology. On this basis I design two experiments on research of the emission characteristics of chlorine and potassium of straw pulp black liquor burning in fluidized bed and wet dechlorination. When the bed temperature was at 850℃ or below 850℃, straw pulp black liquor was in good combustion with industrial zeolite as bed material in fluidized bed. At the same time, when the bed temperature was at 900℃ or below 900℃, straw pulp black Liquor was also in good combustion with calcium carbonate particles as bed material in fluidized bed. When the bed temperature was at 700℃, the content of CO in the flue gas was very high, indicating that combustion was not sufficient at this bed temperature. But when the bed temperature was at 750℃, the content of CO in flue gas decreased rapidly and remained unchanged at a low value after the bed temperature higher than 750℃. During the combustion, a small amount of chlorine and potassium was discharged with the flue gas, while a lot of chlorine and potassium remained in the fluidized bed.Wet preparation can effectively remove chlorine and potassium from the wheat straw and rice straw. Straw can be removed about 90% of chlorine and 85% of potassium soaked in deionized water for 3 hours at 100℃, greatly decreasing the content of chlorine and potassium in straw pulp black liquor.
