The emissions of industrial organic pollutants and oil spills have induced severe environment problems. To deal with oily water in a better way, people introduced special wettability materias into oil/water separation fields. In this paper, we constructed micro/nano structure on copper mesh, after chemical modification of functional molecules prepared copper film with special wettability. Applied different post-processing on as prepared film, we got special wettability mesh which is bidirectional in oil/water separation. The prepared mesh is controlled to achieve different oil/water separation purpose, and suitable pore size make it can meet the requirements of separation of water in oil emulsion and oil in water emulsion. The special two-way properties in oil/water separation of as prepared mesh, make it has a much broader scope in the field of oil/water separation. Main contents and conclusions can be described as follows:Preparation and application of plasma-heating responsive special wettability oil/water separation mesh film. Combining of electroplating time and immersion time,we got copper mesh film with suitable pore size, after chemical modification of HS(CH2)9CH3 prepared superhydrophobic copper mesh. Applied plasma-heating post-processing on as prepared film, the film can achieve the reversible transformation between superhydrophobic and superhydrophilic. In oil/water separation, the prepared mesh is controlled to achieve different oil/water separation purpose, and suitable pore size make it can meet the requirements of separation of water in oil emulsion and oil in water emulsion.Preparation and application of p H-responsive special wettability oil/water separation mesh film. Combining of electroplating time and immersion time, we got copper mesh film with suitable pore size, after chemical modification of HS(CH2)9CH3and HS(CH2)10COOH prepared p H-responsive mesh film. Just change the p H of solutions the film immersed, the film can achieve the reversible transformation between superhydrophobic and superhydrophilic. In oil/water separation, the prepared mesh is controlled to achieve different oil/water separation purpose, and suitable pore size make it can meet the requirements of separation of water in oil emulsion and oil in water emulsion.Preparation and application of same time with superhydrophobic-superhydrophilic special wettability oil.water separation mesh film. Combining of electroplating time and immersion time, we got copper mesh film with suitable pore size, after chemical modification of HS(CH2)9CH3 prepared superhydrophobic copper mesh. Applied plasmatreatment on one side of the prepared mesh, we got the mesh film which is superhydrophobic on one side and superhydrophilic on the other side. Just turn over the film, the film can achieve transformation between superhydrophobic and superhydrophilic. In oil/water separation, the prepared mesh is controlled to achieve different oil/water separation purpose, and suitable pore size make it can meet the requirements of separation of water in oil emulsion and oil in water emulsion.
