In the forging industry, improving the forgings performance and material utilization ratio is always the research hotspots. In recent years, on the promise of guarantee forgings performance, improving material utilization ratio has been an important thought in shape forming and microstructure improving. Forgings usually need drawing, upsetting, often forging and fast forging to make forgings grain refinement, homogeneous microstructure and have a certain size. Forgings usually need secondary maching to meet the requirement dimensions. If the precision forging can be improved, the secondary maching capacity can be reduced, which can improve material utilization ratio and keep the forgings excellent performance.In this paper, a kind of force closed-loop forging method been put forward, aiming at improving the forging performance and reducing the amount of secondary machining. The research work as following:(1) The forging force-closed control system mathematical model would be built. To get the nonlinear mathematical model of the hydraulic system, the mechanism modeling method is applied. In order to analyse this system more intuitively, the non-linear mathematical model is linearized. On the basis of this model, the influence of the stiffness of load is analysed to the force closed-loop system.(2) The force control simulation model would be built and the system’s characteristics The AMESim and MATLAB\Simulink co-simulation is adopted, the hydraulic system and mechanical structure are established in AMESim, and the control method is compiled in MATLAB\Simulink. Comparing the experimental curve and the simulation curve, the accuracy of the model beening verified, the system dynamic characteristics being analyzed.(3) The force closed-loop control method and preliminary application of forging hydraulic press beening researched. In order to keep the excellent response and tracking, the traditional PID controller, integration separation controller and fuzzy PID controller beening introduced. The application of force control in forging hydraulic press beening studied.
