Biological fermentation is an important part of modern biotechnology industry, it has been widely used in various fields such as food, pharmaceuticals, etc., and it shows good prospects and huge market potential. But as a result of biological fermentation process is a complex biochemical reaction process, the control variables are numerous and mutual correlation degree is big, In this paper, according to the biological fermentation process features and practical need in today’s domestic market,on the basis of summarizing the domestic and foreign related research, for nonlinear, time-varying, big lag of the fermentation process, the traditional PID control technology is been used into the fermentation control system. It is mainly studied basic research for fermentation temperature, PH value, dissolved oxygen concentration in the process of control algorithm, reached a satisfactory level.This paper takes the SY3000 main parameters in college of life science in Hebei universi ty as the accused of biological fermentation process model, using Logix controller implements for its simulation and control. Control system consists of a simulation model, the control module, communication module and monitoring procedures constituted. It designes fermentation system by using RSLogix5000 function block programming model, including the reaction temperature, PH value and dissolved oxygen and other parameters, and designs the PID control program to realized on the relevant model of control. Finally, the simulation control system to monitor debugging, tuning the optimal control parameters.The main focus of this paper include: the mechanism analysis of the main parameters, measurement and control, the overall design of the fermentation process of the system design of Rockwell control system. The fermentation control system for real-time monitoring of the fermentation process, optimize operations, not only avoid the uncertainty of manual operation, it also increase the level of automation, effectively control the main parameters of the fermentation process.
