Today’s science and technology on the research of the high-performance engines, prompting the development of the alumina oxide ceramic cores. Alumina ceramic core has good high temperature performance, especially suitable for application in the precision orientation of casting. But there is also the performance limitations of leaching cores, to improve the production efficiency is very bad. How to keep the core other good performance under the premise of improving leaching cores performance is critical.This article will mainly from: the choice of body material, the granularity of the body material, adding mineralizer,, eventually Sintering process and so on to study the performance of the ceramic cores and to determine the best ingredients and technological process. Many performance need to measure, such as flexural strength at room temperature, high temperature deflection, the open porosity, bulk density, water absorption, shrinkage rate, burning rate and the leaching efficiency.In the choice of body material experiment, with the increase of the content of mullite, great changes have taken place in the various performance, but considering the comprehensive performance of equalization, contrast all the sample of the corresponding experimental results, when the mullite content is 15% with good comprehensive performance. So in this formula as the basis to research the effects of the body material granularity cooperate on performance, found the lumina oxide ceramic core of performance is better. In order to keep the core other good performance under the premise and to improve the performance of leaching and studied the mullite and quartz powder, mainly analyzes the mineralizer amount of gradient changes i MPact on performance, when quartz powder content was 10% L-4 ceramic cores get(burning temperature of 1350℃) best performance: flexural strength is 26.45 MPa;The deflection value is 1.37 mm; Shrinkage rate is 0.58%; The open porosity is 47.78%;In the concentration of 60% boiling strong lye corrosion 3 h mass loss rate is 96.21%. In the view of improving the performance of leaching,at the same time, other various performance also had a good stay.On the basis of The best formula L-4 and studied its sintering temperature. By 1350℃, 1450℃ and 1550℃ Three kinds of burning temperature ceramic cores and co MParing their comprehensive performance, found in 1350 ℃ the L-4 formula comprehensive performance is still the best performance. The deflection value after high temperature(1550 ℃)reinforcement reduce to 0.23 mm, high temperature deflection is improved.
