Countermeasures And Characteristics Of Air Pollution About The Workshop Of Hardware Products Factory In Dongguan

The workshop environment air pollutants are mainly industrial dust and chemical poison in the hardware products processing. Through breath or skin, the workers health will be jeopardized by these pollutants. Engineering analysis based on hardware products factory,combined with the field sampling and laboratory testing analysis, in order to explore the stages of various pollutants in the air of workshop characteristics, find out the key pollutant hazard control point. Use the software for data processing and statistical analysis such as Excel 2003.This thesis includes the discussion about all the sources of air pollutants in workshop, the comprehensive evaluation about the distribution features of workshop air pollutants and its influence to the workers health. The results show that:Productive dust of hardware products factory include aluminium dust from cutting workshop and the mixture of dust that made from grinding and sand blasting operations in grinding workshop. The productive chemicals mainly are volatiles from screen printing solvents and other volatile organic solvents, acid and alkali from oxidation workshop. Mainly include: benzene, toluene, dimethylbenzene, NOx, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, sodium hydroxide, etc.The organic matter of air pollution from the workshop environment mainly concentrated in the screen printing workshop, which the toluene concentration ranged from 5.4 to 485.9mg/m3, more than the national occupational health standards. Acid-base pollution mainly concentrated in the oxidation workshop, such as pollution of sulfuric acid mist concentration ranged from 0.47 to 2.36 mg/m3, the highest concentration of sodium hydroxide was 3.2mg/m3, exceeded the national occupational health standards. However, the dust concentration of cutting workshop and grinding workshop meet the national occupational health standards.According to the monitoring results, we can grasp the main pollution control points, the targeted environmental and health prevention by research applications. It means that, the hardware products factory has been relatively advanced in corrective actions, and in use of health protection engineering measures has played a positive role in the occupational health protection.
