| In this article, We treated the surface of GCr15 steel by Laserbeams, high-current pulsed electron beams and ion beams(includinghigh intensity pulsed ion beams and Arc ion plating). By this treatmentwe can obtain higher hardness of the surface(365HRC) and stabilitytexture of materials and overcome complicated operation by traditionalheat treatment. Analyzing with Knoop microhardness measure, Scratchtester, Scan Electron Microscope and Metallographic analysis, Weadjusted parameter of different processing mode(a) Scanning Velocity and Power Density of Laser Beams;(b) Accelerating Voltage and Pulse Duration of Ion Beams andElectron Beams;to treat the surface of GCrl5 steel.We would obtain higher hardness ofthe surface(microhardness of surface layer which treated by electronbeams and ion beams~1000kgf/mm2,thickness of hardness layer≤l0pm; microhardness of surface layer which treated by laser beams950 kgf/mm2, thickness of hardness layer~0.7-0.9mm) and stabilitytexture of matrix, while hardness of matrix was lower(50~52HRC).So,we could settle the requirement of hardness and stability of thesample's whole size. The surface modification of GCrl5 steel by Laser beams did notrequire atmosphere of vacuum, obtained thicker layer of higherhardness. So, It was proved that the surface modification of GCrl5steel by Laser beams was an economical, convenient and prospectmethod. |
