new technology of swing-beam camshafts grinding based on CNC (computer numerical control) was proposed in the dissertation. By analyzing mathematical principle, a simulation system of profile modeling-less CNC grinding was developed. After studying several key factors that affect machining accuracy, many correlative problems were solved, including geometrical relationship model, characteristic of grinding, constant linear velocity grinding control, multiple constraints interpolation and compensation of grinding wheel radius. It was adequate to obtain some key data of control system with the result of simulation. The front-back control system using Windows95 as platform was established on IPC. Hardware interface circuit for pulse generation was laid out. In the system, servo driving with position control mode was realized by following technologies, such as separating interpolation from real time servo, setting up double buffers for front-back real time communication. The experiment of servo driving indicated that the project was feasible ~. credible and adapt to be reconstructed into CNC system with strong anti-jamming capability.
