In this paper, both marketed and modified PSA O2 adsorbent are evaluated by single-column kinetic evaluation apparatus ,taking adsorption capacity of N2 as evaluation criterion .Firstly, main marketed PSA O2 adsorbents are evaluated and the effects of pressure, volume flow rate, desorption conditions on adsorption performance of 5A zeolite are investigated. Secondly, 5A zeolite and crude mordenite are modified by hydrothermal ion-exchange method, and mixed-ion zeolite adsorbent SrCaA and AgBa-mordenite are obtained, the separation performance of these two adsorbents is increased . Lastly, SrCaA zeolite is investigated in minitype PSA apparatus. Results show that modified adsorbent has enhanced performance in adsorption capacity, O2 concentration and O2 recycle rate.
