This paper described the use and market conditions of Tin-based ceramic colors, analyzed the production process and characteristics of traditional Tin-based ceramic colors, because the traditional technology should make Tin into SnOi with nitrate methods firstly, thereby, use acid-SnO2 as raw materials produce Tin-based ceramic colors, the technological process is redundant > pollution serious > loss heavily and cost expensive etc.Uniting the actual of Tin smelling, the paper proposed a novel technology for making Tin into Tin-based ceramic colors directly, analyzed and expounded the theory of the novel technology, determined the process, made laboratory test, got each technical process condition and datum. On the basis ofabove ,the industrial experiment of scale of 100t/a is proceededintroduced the technological process, equipment, theory,teclinological conditions and obtaining main technical-economic target etc. of industrial experiment. The consultative center of YunNan Science and Technology Information Institute had verified technological level of the novel technology. The results showed that the novel technology of making Tin into Tin-based ceramic colors is feasible and senior, the basis of the theory is sufficient. It's an important technological blazing new trails for present Tin-based ceramic colors producing method .At present, there has not finding any reports about the technology at home and abroad, it lies leading conditions. In contrast with traditional technology, the novel technological process is reasonable and unsophisticated, brief and reliable equipments, the Tin recycle is over 99%, however, the Tin recycle of traditional technology is only 92-95%, remarkable economic benefits, gains over four times per ton product than traditional technology, and avoid pollution to environment of making acid- SnO2 in the traditional technology. Through laboratory and technology test verifying, all kinds of technology datum are stable and reliable. It can realize scaleand normal produce, the products from novel technology have already threw in market and got user approval, It is of maximum competitive power and wide foreground of application .
