D Braided Composite Preform Surface Braided Uniform

This paper discusses the application of image processing and mathematical statistic on the braiding homogeneity measuring of Braided Composites Material Preform, in which expounds the hardware, software architectures and realizing methods as well. In order to complete braiding homogeneity measuring, position information of every braided unit must be acquired. This paper expounds corner detection method to get the position information of every braided unit's climaxes. And then the braided units' localization can be realized with these climaxes information. When realized the braided units' localization, feature model can be constituted by every unit's information. The feature model includes two characters: the braided unit's braiding distance and braiding angle. Processing the climaxes information can get the two characters.This paper uses mathematical statistic technology to realize the braiding homogeneity measuring. Using the coefficient variations of braiding distance and braiding angle, the Braided Composites Material Preform's braiding homogeneity can be gotten.
