Stope Overlying Rock Surface Contact Block Structure

Aiming at the structure of overlying strata above the longwall face, the conception of the face-contacted blocks structure in overlying strata above the longwall face is put forward in this paper. Based on the phenomenons by field survering,the conception of the face-contacted blocks structure is explicated on mechanics by illumining from-blocks theory and the theory of voussoir beam.By using model test of simulated materialsand finite element calculation and theory deduce ,the face-contacted blocks structure is systemically studied.As a result,wee think that it can bring horizontal thrust from vertical load and have a solution for the structure. Meanwhile,the affection of the structure on the characters of ground behavior and strata control is analyzed .Finally the conclusion is tested and verified by practical examples analyzing.The theory of the face-contacted blocks structure in this paper is a development of the blocks theory and the voussoir beam theory and provides the theory accordance to the advance of quantitative analysis of the roof control. As a whole,it is benificial to the acquaintance for the subsidence induced from mining and develops the theory of the roof control.
