Supercritical Water Oxidation(SCWO) is a new technology dealing with organic wastes. The contents of this passage is based on properties of Supercritical Water , explain the characters of Supercritical Water Oxidation and summarize the research work, decomposition effects, kinetics and path of organic decomposition in Supercritical Water(SCW). Through the research of the decomposition of Unsymmetrical Dimethyl Hytrazine (UDMH) in Supercritical Water, conclusions can be drawn as follows.1. Supercritical Water Oxidation can achieve great effects on organic decomposition. On experimental conditions, the COD elimination effects of the high concentration organic can exceed 99%.2. The higher temperature, pressure and longer residence time can promote the COD elimination effects. Among these factors, temperature and residence time have greater influence on the COD elimination effects, but the pressure's influence is weak comparatively.3. The Oxidant seldom has any influence on the COD elimination when he was excessive.4. After the organic was decomposed in Supercritical water. H and O were changed into HjO, C was changed into CO2, N became N2. Therefore, In gas phase the main products of UDMH decomposition in SCW were CO2 and N2. The main products in liquid phase were UDMH and formic acid.5. UDMH decomposition in Supercritical Water is Zero grade of oxidant that can simplify the common kinetics formula. If consider the PR formula which fit to Supercritical Fluids, and calculated every unknown parameter in formula, UDMH decomposition kinetics formula can be erected finally.
