| In this paper, coconut oil fatty acid monoethanolamide(CMA) was prepared by reaction of coconut oil fatty acid methyl ester and monoethanolamine in the presence of alkali catalyst, for substituting the coconut oil fatty acid diethanolamide(6501) which was reported to be cancerogenous. And CMA was reacted to prepare coconut oil fatty acid monoethanolamide sulfate sodium salt and polyethoxy coconut oil fatty acid monoethanolamide.The influence of reaction temperature, reaction time, ratio of reactants and the pressure in the preparative reaction of CMA were studied, and the optimal technological conditions were obtained by orthogonal test. Namely, the reaction temperature 110 , the reaction time 5h, n(methylester):n(ethanolamine)=l:l.l, and the pressure 20kPa. The yield was 99% under the optimal conditions. The product was purified by recrystallizition. The pure product was proved to have the same quality as the imported sample by the mothed of HPLC.The method of preparation of sulfated CMA sodium salt was improved by co-sulfating method, to make the reaction system more equably and increase the yield. The thesis studied the ethoxylating reaction of CMA and has got the valuable products.The characteristic in solution of CMA, sulfated CMA sodium salt, and ethoxylated CMA, including solubility, emulsifying, foamability, etc., were measured and contrasted with 6501. The result proved that CMA and its ramifications were feasible to be the substitute of 6501. |
