That the arc can be burned steadily and the spatter is reduced are important problem that can enhance the quality in the welding process. The STT method and other methods of welding plasma about reducing welding spatter and finishing droplet short circuit transfer process successfully are introduced. Based on the characteristics of Dynamic Matrix Control(DMC)has the capability of tracking the ideal given curves., A type of logic control of switching arc burning to short circuit based on predictive and fuzzy theory. The control can shut off arc current when the size of droplet is appropriate in the welding process, it can add additional energy to the little liquid bridge at the end of droplet transfer, reducing spatter and finishing droplet transfer successfully can be realized.In this paper based on the producing machanism of welding spatter, the effects of the droplet and the length of the arc to the short-circuit transfer process is analyzed. The parameter's theoretical judgement grounds of the size of droplet of optimum time is concluded. A type of real time control, circuit of arc burning to short-circuit is analyzed about its feasibility. Based on the characteristic of predictive control and fuzzy rule, a new type time control of arc burning to short-circuit is put forward. In view of the above, its feasibility is analyzed. The theoretical design of the. control is carried on applying the method of predictive control. At the same time, the fuzzy logic rule is designed in theory based on rule of arc burning to short-circuit transfer process is design applying the method of DMC. The respond of the arc burning and the short-circuit transfer dynamic process is simulated on the approximate condition, and its feasibility is tested and verified preliminary, at the same time, the analog circuit is experimented.Through theoretical design, simulation and analogic circuit experiment , that the method is innovative can be find.
