The main aim of the thesis is to discuss the development strategy of Yunnan Aluminum Ltd..Current situation and outlook is presented on primary aluminum market of domestic and abroad, then physical-chemical characters of aluminum electrolyte is also deserved, such as electric conductivity, size, superficiality, vapor pressure and its electrolysis mechanism. On the basis of discussion on energy loss during operation, energy-saving methods are analyzed as follows, which is of great importance for the operation:1. To decrease the voltage of electrolyte;2. To decrease polarization intensity;3. To extend cross section area of leading generatrix;4. To improve contact of lead;5. To decrease cathode voltage;6. To lessen anode effect;7. To cut down energy loss of the electrolysis cell.Moreover, possible measures is also discussed to clean and recover fume produced in the course of operation. Based on the comparison of several programs in primary aluminum industry, The 300KA electrolysis cell programs is proposed, because of its advantages as follows: mature technology, proper structure, easy operation and superior index. It was proved that the application of 300KA electrolysis cell program can largely improve several aspects of index in the course of operation, which can be described as follows:1. The cell situation is stable and easy to operate, it can cut down cells opening to exchange two anodes every time, which makes cells more closely.2. The application of the program enhances charcoal production system, and enforce facility burthen rate to 75-95%.3. The application improves the environment of the area. It can add production capacity 50 000 tons per year, while fluoride discharge is only increased 55.1tons per year and there is no pitch in the discharge fume. The distinguish cleaning technique cuts down fluoride pollution, which evidentially has environmental advantages.4. The program can advance unit capacity to 0.24ton/m2, while it used to be0.18t/m2.5. It enlarges labor productivity to 200.8ton/p.year, as well as financial yield inside and invest profit margin to a great extend.Based on the analysis above, it is believed that it is necessary for Yunnan Aluminum Ltd. to apply the 300KA program according to the operational and environmental advantages of the program.
