A series of narrow molecular weight distribution polystyrene(PS) with grams and kilogram were prepared by anionic polymerization in the inert gas atmosphere, using n-BuLi as initiator , cyclohexane as solvent, tetrahydrofuran as accelerating agent. The samples were .characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), Fourier transformation infrared (FT-IR) and gel permeation chromatography (GPC). Comparison with the two synthesized methods shows that the kilogram method is better than grams. Furthermore, a several factors were discussed, which effect the molecular weight and its distribution .Due to the importance of anionic polymerization in polymer ,the dynamics was also discussed by statistics method. |
