The honeycomb board impregnated absorbant can reach less reflection within wider frequency band and better mechanical performance and very little density. All these characteristics make it as an material to fabricate some parts of the aircraft. When designing the absorbing_wave structure, the electromagnetic parameters must be mastered. The scattering characteristics of absorbing structure have affinity dependent closely upon its shape and size and electromagnetic parameters of the absorbant. We can gain better scattering characteristic if we could optimize these electromagnetic parameter.Although the absorbing honeycomb are used widely to fabricate structural absorber in practice, there aren't a reliable way to get its electromagnetic parameters for a long time. R.E.Jorgenson first applied the methods of moments to this problem and gained the numerical results of the absorbing honeycomb's current and reflection coefficient. Now what we will do is to study the scattered electric field of the special honeycomb structure. The material ways are to model the honeycomb wall as an impredence surface, to express the infinite honeycomb by using periodic Green's function, and using Method of Moment to establish the mathematic model, In applying the methods of moments , we choose the roof function as basic function and choose the razor function as test function; By equating the incident field to sum of the scattering field and impledance field; we will set up the integral equation for the surface current, Solving it by MOM equation .Then gain it's reflected coefficient's numerical result. And we propose first the definition of the equivalent electromagnetic parameters and present a method to calculate them from the gained reflection coefficientdate. Thus we solved a serial of problems of absorbing honeycomb and infinite periodic structure by these operations.The method developed in this paper and the designed program may be used in study the characteristics of the honeycomb,in manufacturing absorbing honeycomb and in design the structure absorber. So this work has important meanings in theory and practice.
