In this paper, polyacrylate rubbers have been prepared by bulk casting, taking methyl acrylate and butyl acrylate as comonomer. The physical and mechanical properties of the rubbers and their influencing factors are studied. The reactiveness of the system is also studied. The results showed that the amount of crosslinking agents, the amount of strengthening agents and the silane coupling agents all have great influence on the physical and mechanical properties of the rubbers. The comprehensive properties of the rubber made by two-step means are more excellent. An optimized recipe and process is acquired through a series of experiment. That is: acrylate monomer 100g, DVB 1.8g, BPO Ig, DMA 0.2g, SiO2 0.18g, the reaction condition is 27t:/10h, the post-treatment processing is 160t:/6h. This reaction system has good reactiveness under room temperature. In addition, the acrylate rubbers made as this recipe and process have good physical and mechanical properties, excellent heat resistance and oil resistance. When being immersed in 20# lubricating oil for 72 hours under 150℃, its weight only increases 1.54 percent.
