Laser surface treatment technology is one of hot development. Laser overlay-up is a new technology in the recent tens years. Laser overlay-upis focus in the surface disposal of material ,mostly because of the metallurgy unite between laser overlay-up and matrices, fine microstructure, controllable, thick cladding, little heated zone, easy selective overlay-up, easy automatization in the process of technique, perfect performance, et al. It also has a function of repair and strengthen, make grade function compound coating. So this technology were using by the manufacture and maintain of machine, manufacture of automobile, machine weaving, navigation, modeling, petrochemical. It became a keytechnology of green economize energy sources and material, rebuilding-up.In this paper, the system of laser overlay-up material and its chose and design, the mode of overlay (feeding wire and feeding powder) and device of overlay-up were introduce on the basis of overlay-up development. The parameter of laser feeding wire overlay-up was described, and the according as the main parameter chosen. It also was introduced the technology of analysis and the existing problem of laser overlay-up.On the basis of processing investigation, technical parameter optimizeand matching, microstructure, the element distribution, hardness and overlayer quality were systematical studied by using SEM,TEM, EDX, XRD and microhardness.This study has important theory significance and practice significance. It is provided with referece on laser feeding wire overlay-up, reducing the crack when there are higher performance (such as wearability, hardness, resistance and so on) in the overlay-up.
