As a part of the online compensating system of ball screw grinding, begining with analyzing thread grinding, The grinding precision of ball screw is detailedly analyzed, The technology project of error compensation which is used in this system is ascertained, Thus general design for on-line automatic compensating system of ball screw grinding machine is putted forward, The function of the system is illuminated.On the basis of comparing a variety of real time control algorithms which is used in error compensating technology project, The method of time series as a real time control algorithm which is used in the system is propounded, The method of time series is analyzed in detail on theory. In order to verify feasibility of the method of time series in the system, the emulator of the method of time series is designed in VB6.0.In emulational experiment, a great deal of measured data which is collected in production is simulated, And a lot of prediction error curve and measured error curve are gained. The simulated result proves feasibility of the method of time series used in the system. The research prepares for further study.
