This paper is mainly concerned about the preparation of Standard Reference Material (SRM) for N-phenyl-β-naphthylamine. In order to attain this SRM, the methods of washing in alkali, decoloring and recrystalizing was used to purify the industrial products of N-phenyl-β-naphthylamine. At the same time an apparatus of zone melting was designed, the method of zone melting was used to purify the purified product of recrystalizing. After purification, the homogeneity and stability of the purified product of N-phenyl-β-naphthylamine which was well stockpiled was examined by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). The methods of HPLC and Differential Scanning Calorimetry(DSC) wer studied in order to use them to determine N-phenyl-β-naphthylamine's purity, its quantitative analysis. Measurement uncertainty was analysised and as aresult, the SRM's value was fixed.The proper conditions of purification and determination were settled down through experiments and analysis. A number of additional analyses were also performed to characterize the material. They are homogeneous and stable for at least 1 year. A mathematic model for the HPLC determination purity of Anti-oxidant D was established. Every standard uncertainties of the results of measurement were calculated through analyzing. The combined standard uncertainty of HPLC is 0.454%, and DSC is 0.025%. Then the value of SRM of N-phenyl-β-naphthylamine is 99.3% and the combined standard uncertainty is 0.5%.
