| Desiccation plays a very important role in the process of manufacturing Chinese traditional medicine, in which how to control heating temperature is the key problem in maintaining and affecting the effective medicinal components in those medicinal herbs, especially in the production of semi-finished herbal extract. The Chinese medicinal herbs to be dried have temperature-thermal sensitivity that is determined by the special medicinal properties containing in these herbs, so it is intolerant of great heat and heat operation under long time. At the same time, the liquid that is extracted from the medicinal herbs contains high sugar, thus causing a lot of technical problems in the drying process of the semi-finished herbal medicine. In the traditional desiccation, kiln-dry, air-dry and roasting are applied, which are inefficient, resulting in low productivity. In order to meet the demands of the mass production and to raise efficiency, it is necessary to develop a new type of medical power system for the desiccation process.According to the characteristics of the desiccation and specification of the Chinese traditional medicine production, the author of this paper in the research project designs a high-frequency medical power system, which has been tested under strict conditions, satisfying the demand of the manufacturers.It consists of ultrasonic transducer and the energy output equipment. The ultrasonic transducer can change 220V/50Hz alternating current to 286V/20kHz electrical oscillating signal. It is mainly made up of oscillator, voltage amplifier, power amplifier and high-frequency transformer. The energy output equipment is composed of ultrasonic converter, matching circuit, amplitude-change pole, manufacturing tool. The ultrasonic converter is pivotal part in the energy output equipment. The high-frequency electrical oscillating signal is converted to the ultrasonic longitudinal vibration by the ultrasonic converter. The amplitude-changepole magnifies the amplitude of the vibration and passes it to the manufacturing tool that will drive the load.In the design of converter, it satisfies the demands of basic performance of the system. Besides, it combines the design of converter with the transducer, so the parameters of ultrasonic converter are more reasonable and the efficiency of the system is greatly improved.In the research project, the author mainly undertakes the design of the energy output system. The main design work is as follow: the structure and dimension of the ultrasonic converter design; the design of matching circuit which can link the ultrasonic converter with the ultrasonic; the design of amplitude-change of pole and manufacturing tool.This new system is mainly used in the production of semi-finished medicinal herbal extract; and it will find wide application in processing of dairy products and other manufacturing of food or medicine.The research project is sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (50275125) and Horizontal Subject (N4EK0020). |
