Waxes are used as important materials in industries for food, pharmacy, daily chemistry, leather, textile and agriculture. According to development of industrial development, waxes are applied in mechanism, electronic industries and national defense industries.Paraffin wax is the research object in the thesis and is modified by oxidization, amidation and emulsification to produce a series of modified waxes including acylamide wax unfound home and abroad that can be applied in practical industries. There is -COOH group in oxidized wax which can react with amine to give acylamide wax. Materials ratio is studied and shown that the product through reaction of this ratio of materials can reach the demand of penetration below 3 and acid number below 5 (KOH mg/g). meanwhile, technological conditions of the reaction is systemically studied to give optimum reaction factors: reaction temperature is 150℃ and time of reaction is 3h in first stage, and then temperature is increased to 190℃ and another 3h of reaction is needed. Oxidization of OP wax is studied in the thesis and suitable oxidization conditions are found that amount of catalyst is 2.5%, time of reaction is 7 h, oxygen airflow is 5-6m~3/h, reaction temperature is 140-145℃, excitation temperature is 170-180℃.Oxidized OP wax is easier to be emulsified. Through filtration and built emulsifiers, optimum built emulsifiers and methodology of emulsification is found that stirring speed is 1200r/min, time of emulsification is 20-30min, emulsification temperature is 85~95℃, amount of water in emulsification is below 70%.
