Pipeline All-position Welder Automatically Within The Overall Program And Mechanical Systems

Pipeline inner loop welder is applicable for big-caliber pipeline welding in construction procedure to joint the ends of pipes and fulfill roots welding. The marked character of inner welder is its high jointing speed and can confirm welding quality. It is one of the most important instruments in mechanization and efficiency in pipe construction. Research and Manufacturing of big-caliber pipeline automobile welder is an important and tackle key problem of the project of West-east Gas Pipeline Project of petroleum and Natural Gas Group and one of the ten key science research subjects of China Petroleum Group in 2003. Now, in the whole world, only CRC in USA and NOREAST in UK can manufacture inner welder, whose production are based on same technology. In this subject, we lucubrated foreign researching results and researching trends and combined with the actual situation in our country. After many times design and modification, we manufactured sample of PIW3640 pipeline inner loop welder and processed inner welding technology experimentation. This instrument is made of swelling and tightening system, welding unit, multi-welding distance synchronization-whirling driving system, multi-welding distance synchronization automobile orientation system, whole-machine treading system, braking system, frame of machine, gas-storage pot, pneumatic system, gas providing protection system, data control system, etc. The whole technology plan of PIW 3640 pipeline inner loop welder is reasonable. The technology plan and component of the machinery system, pneumatic system and control system manifest high quality. It is applicable for long-distance pipeline in the construction situation in out field. This research, about the mechanical system of interior welder, has put forward its resolutions for the following key technical problems: the design of the organization for swelling and tightening and the cooperation of drives for synchronous jointing; strict guarantee of the identic plane of the six welding quadratures; reasonable layout of the flexible springs; working reliability of the welding unit organization. All the above achievements have actualized the mechanization in the construction of long-distance transporting pipeline. In the fifth section of the West-east Gas Pipeline Project, the interior welder in this research has been employed for groundwork with the homemade PAW2000 full-automatic exterior welder for heating welding, filling and covering. And this method has made a record of welding 130 junctions in one day and welding 2000 junctions without break, with an excellent qualification rate of 100% by once AUT flaw detecting.
