In this paper, twistless spinning methods of plied removing twist processing, spun wrapped yarn processing and bonding processing are presented. Comparing with their advantages and disadvantages, spun wrapped processing will have a good future meanwhile, plied yarn processing can be rapidly applied to textile industry for its only littlie modification on the conventional ring spinning frame without any new spinning frames to be brought. The principle for removing twist in the plied two yarns is analyzed by Spirality theory and equation based on said theory is educed. PVA removing process is optimized by orthogonal test, and by use of analysis of variance method, factors which affect PVA removing result and the final quality of fabric are also studied. The PVA removing process is optimized. Comparing with twist woven plain fabric whose woven parameters are same to corresponding twistless fabric, properties of twistless woven fabric including breaking strength, tear strength, flex abrasion, air permeability, water vapour transmission, pilling resistance, drape, dimensional stability, wicking, and dyeing uptake are tested. The data got from the said testing are analyzed and conclusions are that twistless fabric has many desirable properties such as improved cover, water vapour transmission, bulk, softness, and absorbency but its breaking strength and tear strength is low especially in filling direction. According to the previous references and testing results in this paper, breaking strength and tear strength can be improved by adding interaction in per unit, increasing interfiber forces and using long staple fiber.
