Iron and steel industry still has a strong energy in spite of its 100 years' long history. New ideas change the manufacture process of iron and steel every day, just like 100 years ago. It has thousands kinds of products , and the usage of them is very widely, such as strips. Strips play a very important role in the development of domestic economy and it is widely used in industry, national defence, and civil areas. It can not only be used as slab, but as raw and processed materials of cold rolling, weld tube, and cold banding beam.It is necessary to study the process in order to get pretty product. Strip hot rolling is a composite process of deformation including material nonlinear, geometry nonlinear, and boundary condition nonlinear. The way of traditional study has a high cost with a bad effect. On contrary the way of computer simulation can conquer the drawback. We select the computer simulation of continued hot rolling of strip as research object. Adopting Marc development technology, we set up the model and resolve the problem of temperature distribution of strip during the hot rolling. In the course of calculating temperature field, we take into consideration of the plastic work, friction work, heat convection, conduction and radiation among work-piece. Through the simulation, we get the fields of displacement, strain, stress and temperature .These results have very important significance to improvement of mechanical properties of continued hot rolling of strip and the quality of product.
