In this thesis we have synthesized two amino diphosphonates, with which three main group metal phosphonates and three transition metal phosphonates have been synthesized and their crystal structures have been determined by X-ray diffraction method, Infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis have been employed to confirm their structures. We have also studied their thermal stability, fluorescence and magnetic properties. The results are outlined as follows:(1) Two ligands have been synthesized: 1-aminoethylidenediphonic acid (CH3C(NH2)(PO3H2)2)=L1) and 3-amino-1-hydroxyl-propylidenediphsphonic acid (NH2CH2CH2C(OH)(PO3H2)2=L2). Then three main group and three transition metal (II) phosphonates have been synthesized. Their formulas are as follows: Ca[CH3C(NH3)(PO3H)2]2[CH3C(NH3)(PO3H)(PO3H2)]2(1), Sr{[CH3C(NH3)(PO3H)(PO3)](H2O)}H2O,Pb[CH3C(NH3)(PO3H)(PO3)]H2O(3), Co2(NH3CH2CH2C(OH)(PO3)(PO3H))2·2H2O(4),Cu3[NH3CH2CH2C(OH)(PO3)2]-2(H2O)2(5) andCu[NH3CH2CH2C(OH)(PO3)(PO3H)]H2O(6).(2) The structures of the above Complexes have been determined. Complex 1 has a pseudo one dimensional chain structure. The two neigbouring Ca(II) are linked by a pair of O-P-O bridges in the chain, and such chains are interlinked by hydrogen bonds, forming three dimensional supramolecular network structure. Both complex 2 and 3 have layered structures, which are further linked to three-dimensional structures by hydrogen bonds. Complex 4 features one dimensional ladder-like double chain structure, where the dimmer units {Co2(μ-O)2} are connected by O-P-O bridges. The chains are interconnected via hydrogen bonds into a 3D network. Complex 5 has a complicated three-dimensional structure, in which there are two kinds of Cu atoms. One kind of Cu atoms are six coordinated which are in centers of the dreich octahedra... | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Amino-diphosphonate, Complex, Thermal stability, Fluorescence, Magnetic property | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
