TiO2 thin films photocatalysis were prepared on glass substrates by sol-gel method. We use the XRD, DTA-TG, UV-ViS, XPS to investigate the thin films The photocatalytic activity of the different structure TiO2 was tested with cyclohexane,TCE etc organic subustance as the objective decomposition substance. In different oxygen ambient and chloride concentration to measure the photoconductance of the TiO2 thin film By the experiment result to investigating the photocatalytic oxidation reaction mechanism. The result shows that O2 and Cl2 as the electron capture species absorbed over the TiO2 surface. And suppress the recombination velocity of electron and hole. In identical condition the absorbtion of oxygen and chloride on the surface of anatase to effect the phtoconductance more obviously than rutile. By photoconductance measurement can explain that anatase more active than rutile which due to differerent constructure.
