1. This paper first reported that the method of preparating nanometric Aluminium powder by the thermal decomposition of organoaluminium in vacuum. It was found that the decomposition of the organoaluminium compounds which was generated by Aluminium powder with naphthalin in the presence of TiCl4 catalyst in tetrahydrofuran at 0-60°C under normal pressure in vacuum could give rise to aluminium powder of nanometric size. Transmission electron micrographs showed that the resulted aluminium powder was in the form of nanoparticles with an average primary particle size around 30-45 nm.2. This paper reported that Aluminium hydride has been first prepared by the direct hydrogenation catalyzed by TiCl4 in tetrahydrofunan (THF) under normal pressure. Transmission electron micrographs showed that the resulted Aluminium hydride was in the form of nanoparticles.3. The paper investigated that Lanthanide nitride powder of nanometric size was synthesized by the nitrification of lanthanide powder or lanthanide hydride under normal pressure.
