The Carrousel 2000 oxidition ditch process inWuIongkou municipal wastewater treatment plant in Zhengzhou was studied in this paper.Microbiology characters of the process were analysed through quantities of literature。 The paper mainly studied separation , filtration and qualitative analysis of the special sufficient bacterials which could biodegradate COD in the process.At the same time ,Polynerase chain reaction(PCR)-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis(DGGE) was applied to analyse microbial community diversity in the activated sludge of the different stage. Three stages were start-up , debugging and stable circulation. The relation between microbial community diversity and water quality was obtained.In addition, microbial community diversity from the two similar full-scale Carrousel oxidition ditch process were compared.The start-up of Wulongkou wastewater treatment plant in Zhegnzhou began in March 2005.After two months of circulation,the removal rate of SS, BOD5, COD, NH4+-N, TP were about 94%, 94%, 85%, 99%, 55 % .This study had tracked the operation for 6 months .Firstly, microscopic examination for the activated sludge sample was operated , inoculated and cultured the microbial in the sample with extract broth as substrate, and then determined the total number of bacterials . bacterials which could degrade COD were filtrated out and purified. Five bacterials which had some biodegradability for COD were filtrated out. after two times compound fitrated, three bacterials were seperated which could degrade wastewater sufficiently and the degrading results were stable.And the examination also showed that the degrading rate of most strains reached highest point at about 18 hours. And then, The cross examination was conducted for the sufficient degrading bacterias which were filtrated ( between sufficient degrading bacterias). And between sufficient degrading bacterias...
