Melting bubble method perpetrating foam aluminum alloy is one of the most the industrialization scale production in the future because its production craft relatively simple, the cost is low. The rare-earth metal serves as the aluminum alloy chemical additive may change its physical property, increases its resistance to wear, the thermostable intensity and the anti-creep strength, the improvement workability. Therefore developing function and the structure integration new material—rare earth froth aluminum material has the extremely broad market prospect.The paper elaborated with ZL102 (A1-Sil2), the rare earth chemical additive as the substrate material, SiC makes the viscosity increasing agent, the Mg powder as the active ingredient, CaCO3 makes the foaming agent, with Melting bubble method to prepare the average porosity is 63-90%, average aperture hole around 1mm, low cost, structure controllable and high strength rare earth foam aluminum alloy. In this foundation ,we can analyze the influence of various crafts to prepare the foam aluminum alloy by the smelting, increases sticks, foaming, cooling and each craft experimental study. We can design rare earth joined the quantity, the foaming agent joined the quantity, mixing time, the foaming temperature, the preservation time and five factors four levels orthogonal experiments. We research the foam aluminum alloy's hole structure characteristic and the rare earth froth aluminum alloy static mechanics performance, analyze the foaming thermodynamics and the dynamical condition by L16(45) the orthogonal tests.
