Organometallics is a cross discipline specializing in the study of the preparation,structure, property, chemical reaction laws,and application of organometallic compounds.The application of transition metals in organic synthesis stands out above the rest with new reactions and new methods emerging ceaselessly. The study on transition metals catalyst with its high selectivity has become one of the most active areas in the study of organic synthetic chemistry.Nickel and palladium belong to VIII family of transition metals,which have fine coordination activities.they have been widely used in organic synthesis,industrial catalysis,etc.As the types in the vary periodical element, the type of mechnism of nickel is the same as palladium , they can catalyze a lot of couplings such as Suzuki couplings,stille coupling ,heck reaction,olefins polymerizations,hydrogenations and so on.The production of C-C bonds has always been one of the most important domains in organic synthesis. Over the past three decades, palladium and nickel have been widely used in industrial chemical production and scientific research ,their complexes have good catalysis activity and the study of this domain have been a hot spot in the organic chemistry and organometallics.Here we synthesis eight new ionic ligands and manufacture acoordingly palladium(II) and nickel(II) complexes ,then utilize these complexes into heck coupling.wish to report on the synthesis and characterization of a series of palladium and nickel complexes containing sterically ionic P-diimine ligands and attempt to testify whether the complexes have acoordingly catalysis activity to such couplings (heck, Suzuki,etc.)The complexes were characterized with IR 1H-NMR 13C-NMR ,GC and elemental analysis...
