| The quality of gasoline is much higher with the reqirements of environmental protection and energy conservation. This leads to the more application of non-metal antiknock .The studies of the mechanisms of non-metal antiknock will play an important role in exploring new antiknock in the future. So clarifying the mechanisms of antiknock has important effects on developing new antiknock. In this paper, we have investigated the electron-transfer properties of N-Methylaniline and the effects of peroxide and the co-effect of constituents of TKC with electrochemical technique, aiming at exploring the mechanism of antiknock and definiting the properties of constituents of antiknock. This will provide the theoretical basis for selecting components and finding the best proportion.We have investigated the electron-transfer properties of N-Methylaniline in 1, 2-dichloroethane in different electrodes with cyclic voltammetry. The research results indicate that N-Methylaniline has good electron transfer properties in platinum electrode, glassy carbon electrode and Au electrode. Due to the catalysis of platinum electrode and the low price of glassy carbon electrode , we can select glassy carbon electrode as working electrode to investigate N-Methylaniline.We also studied the electron-transfer properties and the spectral properties of N-Methylaniline in ethanol with cyclic voltammetry and situ UV spectra .The results indicate that the cation free radical of N-Methylaniline can form benzidines and azobenzidines by tail-tail and head-head coupling in ethanol.The essence of antiknock is to eliminate the peroxide produced by the combustion of gasoline in engine. We have explored the electron-transfer property of N-Methylaniline in TKC antiknock constituent, followed by the studying the effect of peroxide on the electron-transfer property of N-Methylaniline. The research results showed that N-Methylaniline could eliminate peroxide. The test of N-Methylaniline using cyclic voltammetry in different mixed solution is that when there is a little tolune , butyl acetate and perchloroethylene , it can manifest positive concocting effect and do good favor to eliminate peroxide with N-Methylaniline. Butyl acetate can eliminate much more peroxide in the same proportion. So TKC components have the concocting effect. |
