To solve the problem of conductivity and mechanics performanc instability in electrician round aluminum rod production, The research of this paper add B and Re elementat in industrial aluminiun at the same time ,optimization of production technology and equipment ,to raises mechanical performance , reduce resistivity and improve the performance of electrician round aluminum rod.Adds certain quantity RE makes its combine with Fe and Si that dissolve in aluminum solid solution , generate stabilize middle chemical commpound, reduce impurity element in aluminum solid solution ,it can also restrain the harmful role for conductivity efficiently of Si and Fe element in industrial aluminium. At the same time, Re element increases the composition super-cooling in alloy crystallization course and offers plenty of different quality shape nuclei core, plenty of new nucleus restrict columnar grain grow up , thus get equal axle grain , refnement the grain improvement the metallographic , reduce the source of crackle of aluminium alloy and makes the crackle source location and development channel to occur change, it's helpful for alloy tenacity , make electrician round aluminum rod strength and plasticity rise.B can occur reaction with harmful impurity element Ti, V, Mn etc.in aluminum, generate complex chemical commpound of thing or them, make them from dissolve firmly form change into to separate out and sediment in fuse-element bottom, reduce the grain distortion of aluminum conductor. Besides, it can increase the quantity of grain nuclear and refine grain . Therefore by addition of B will beneficial for conductive rate and the strength of electrician round aluminum rod.This project carry out on the foundation of 8000 tons/year electrician round aluminum rod production line, with equipment reformation of smelting furnace , exclude air, exclude dregs and the cooling installation ,under the condition that main equipment does not increase , complete aluminum- B -Re alloy electrician round aluminum rod industrial experiment, make aluminum-B -Re alloy electrician round aluminum rod productivity raising to 15000-20000 tons/year.Adds certain quantity Re in industrial aluminium ,the mechanical performance of electrician round aluminum rod can raise on certain level. Adds certain quantity B in industrial aluminiumcan improve conductivity of electrician round aluminum rod obviously .Adds Re 0.02 - 0.2% and B 0.01 - 0.045% at the same time, the resistivity of electrician round aluminum rod can fall to (2.72 - 2.76 ) ×10-8 Ω· m, it's 1.5% - 3% lower than China national standard , 0.9% -2.3% lower than the international IEC standard .
