The illicium verum are called the aniseed in north, and called ergot in south. It also called anise or aniseed as traditional Chinese medicine. It have the intense hawthorn fragrance, taste sweet, the nature is moderate. Aniseed is proper costful economy kinds of trees in our country south subtropics. Octagonal oil (anise oil) is an excellent seasoning spices and medicine raw materials.Aniseed fennel oil can be oxidated to become anisaldehyde which is an important organic intermediate material ( it also named p-methoxybenzaldehyde ), because it's constant hawthorn fragrance and attractive fragrance, it is used to confect essence which has sweet potpourri, clove and hawthorn fragrance, and used to confect essence of food, glucide and drink. Besides, it can be used to prepare some intermediate material such as porphyrin photosensitizer and penicillin hydroxyl ammonia khaki. As for agriculture, it is a nice pesticidal and biological development inhibitor. Aniseed fennel raw material are very rich in Guangxi province, due to it's market foreground and high economic value, we studied the theme of preparation anisaldehyde from fennel oil.Traditional preparation method of anisaladehyde exist some problems, such as difficult to take former disposal, high equipment corruption, pollution and low yield, so we research systemically to two aspects as follows:We find the optimized operation technic condition on the base of orthogonal experiment from single factor experiment for the technic process of preparation of anisaldehyde from ozone oxidation-deoxidation of fennel oil. Compare with the process of distill anethole from fennel oil and then oxidation , our process are short and easily to operate.On the use of ultraviolet spectrophotometry method to determine anisaldehyde content, we find the best operate parameter of measurement. Compare with the existing process of using GC method, this method have some advantages: operate easily, low requirement to the equipment and it's more accurate and speedy, so it have nice extend foreground and reference value. The results as follow:We Optimize the condition of ozone oxidation process, and the results is : the ratio of the two solvent of the compound is 1 : 3, the ratio of solvent and raw material is 5 : 1, the reaction temperature and reaction time is 15℃and 25min,at this time the yield is 79.3%.The best reaction condition of ultraviolet spectrophotometry method is : 2mL(6mol/L) hydrochloric acid was acceded to dilution in colorimetric tube, then 2mL(0. 08mol/L) sulfur-barbitone was put in the colorimetric tube, then the solution was diluted to scale, shake up , after it was placed for a period of time, measure its absorbency with the blank sample in 1 cm colorimetric ware. Enter it in the standard curve and get the content of anisaldehyde.The characteristic of our theme is: using UV method to determine the content of anisaldehyde, find the technic process of anisaldehyde preparation from direct oxidation method of fennel oil.
