We had studied the series habit of myclobutanil residue on pepper. The residue analysis method about myclobutanil on pepper has been established. Residues were extrcted with mixture solvents methanol and water, with neutral alumina column solid-phase extraction, gas-chromatography detected the myclobutanil in peppert, The minimum detectable amount was 1.7×10-12g. The average recoveries of myclobutanil in soil was 81. 5—98. 5 %, the RSD was 2.5~7.5%; the average recoveries of myclobutanil in plant was 75. 6~102. 7 % , the RSD was 1. 8 - 3. 9 %; the average recoveries of myclobutanil in pepper was 94. 3~98. 8 % , the RSD was 2. 1~5. 4 %. The definite and RSD were better to agree with the condition of residue analysis. The experiment carried out in Guiyang indicated that the decomposition half-life of Myclobutanil (25%, EC) was 32.8 d in soil and 3.7 d in pepper plant. The residue level of Myclobutanil (25%, EC) in pepper is lower than 0.02mg/kg (Maximum Residue Limit by EU). Therefore, the 30~60g.a.i/ha dosage of myclobutani is safe for using in Guiyang area.
