This paper produced urea formaldehyde resin modified by lignosulfonate foam plastics based on two cheap material: urea formaldehyde resin and lignosulfonate from Papermaking waste, and In view of its shortcoming, studied foam plastics which taked on Suitable mechanical intensity and flexibility by appropriate chemical modifying.Taking impact intensity of urea formaldehyde resin modified by lignosulfonate foam plastics as experimental object, designed three levels and four factors othrogonal experiment and obtained the optimum experimental condition: ratio of urea and formaldehyde is 1:1.7, ratio of resin and foaming liquid is 100:10.5, adding quantity of lignosulfonate is 30%, adding quantity of solidifying agent is 8%.Designed modifying plan of urea formaldehyde resin modified by melamine, lignosulfonate and Polyvinyl alcohol, obtained the optimum experimental condition by three levels and four factors othrogonal experiment: Taking content of free formaldehyde in resin as experimental object, ratio of urea and formaldehyde is 1:1.6, adding quantity of lignosulfonate is 40%,adding quantity of melamine is 4%, adding quantity of Polyvinyl alcohol is 0.8%; Taking impact intensity of resin modified by mixed modifying agents foam plastics as experimental object, ratio of urea and formaldehyde is 1:1.7, adding quantity of lignosulfonate is 30%, adding quantity of melamine is 6%, adding quantity of Polyvinyl alcohol is 1.2%.In order to enhance compression intensity and impact intensity of foam plastics, designed two levels and three factors othrogonal experiment and obtained the optimum experimental condition taking compression intensity of foam plastics as experimental object, ratio of resin and foaming liquid is 100:15, adding quantity of solidifying agent is 16%, adding quantity of foaming agent is 0.4%; taking impact intensity of foam plastics as experimental object, ratio of resin and foaming liquid is 100:10, adding quantity of solidifying agent is 12%, adding quantity of foaming agent is 0.6%.
