Unevenness of yarn is one of most important determinations for yarn quality and italso has great relation with ultimate products. Unevenness, especially long segmentunevenness is produce in beginning procedure of yarn spinning. So how to reduceunevenness is an urgent problem for textile industry.This paper is research and design major in autoleveller of blow-carding. In currenttextile machinery manufacture, blow-carding frames are mainstream; autoleveller isan important part of it. In order to have more effect in reducing unevenness, thissystem have three detective points and two regularly points as a mixed loop. Mixedloop have both open loop's and closed loop's merits.The differences between this system and other systems are that regulating anddetection for feeding roller of cotton box which in blow-carring frame have bought inthis system. For this reason the autoleveller can control long segment unevenness well.And in control part, frequency conversion electromotor have be directly used forregulating rollers, this can avoid hysteretic produced by mechanical drive.For more exact signal, this system have used digit sensor everywhere that convertphysical signal to digit signal. Besides, in cotton layer detection, 10 springs have beeninstalled on cotton feeding board to get more exact signal that represent real thicknessof cotton. These are transmitted by network which is so-called RS485 serial datatransfer.In the choice of controller for autoleveller system, we choose MitsubishiPLC(Program Logic Control) which are popular for small and middle control system.This PLC can program under windows and have much quick response that can fulfillrequest of carding frame.About control method of this system, we didn't choose PID which is mature and hasbeen used for many industry control, but choose fuzzy logic control method. Fuzzycontrol technology is a non-linear and intellective control system, it is not depend onmathematics model but as professional knowledge by operator on spot. In this way.we need not exact mathematics model for carding frame that is difficult to get and itinfluence by many indetermination factor such as down cotton rate that is various. Sofor our system control, fuzzy control is suitable and can simplified program process.By analyze properties of unevenness of raw sliver and use fuzzilize process. we canobtain a series of IF THEN sentences. Signal also be fuzzilized after convert by digitsensor. then be dealt with by that sentences and de-fuzzilized to convert it to a physical signal that can control electromotor, However that process must pass throughtransducer.In order to test this autoleveller system, we use MATLAB software to do an exam. Init simulink6.0 circumstance, we build a emulational model, in this model, have astochastic signal as feeding cotton by opening frame, and through our system, we canreduce its unevenness. Moreover, we do this test by PID control also to contrast.
