The synthesis of intermidate were performed by esterification, withneopentyl glycol and adipic acid, terephthaloyl chloride, the molecularweight of oligmer changed as the diverse material molar ratio; Then, themixed ester which have excellent lubricity was produced by esterification,with oligmer and oleic acid, rapeseed oil acid, The performance of mixedester also researched in this paper, the main content as follows:1. Different oligmer of adipic acid ester and terephthalic acid esterbase oil was synthesized, the effect of reaction time, the reactiontemperature and molar ratio on yield and efficiency of esterification alsobe discussed, the optimal reaction conditions of adipic acid ester asfollows: step 1: catalyst was p-toluene sulfonic acid, water carrier wastoluene, the reaction temperature was 140~150℃, the reaction time was1h, the efficiency of esterification can reach 97.8%; step 2: catalyst wasp-toluene sulfonic acid, water carrier was toluene, the reactiontemperature was 140~150℃, the reaction time was 1h, the field was83-89%; the optimal reaction conditions of terephthalic acid ester asfollows: step 1: acid-binding agent was pyridine, the solvent wasdichlormethane, the reaction time was 8h, the reaction temperature wa70~80℃, the field was 56.9%; step 2: catalyst was p-toluene sulfonicacid, water carrier was toluene, the reaction temperature was 140~150℃,the reaction time was 1h, the field was 81-89%.2. The structure of intermidate and mixed ester was identified by IR;the structure and constitute of intermidate was also identified by GC-MS.3. The degree and the molecular weight was determined bymeasuring the acid value and hydroxyl value of intermidate; Thesolidifying point, viscosity, viscosity index, acid value, saponificationvalue, oxidative stability, biodegradability, thermal stability andtribological and rheological characteristics of mixed ester was determined.These result show that: The Physicochemical properties and lubricity ofbase oil can be transformed by the structure, so we can select differentcapability base oil base on different demand.
