Manufacturing process of powder metallurgical steel- copper alloybimetallic flanged bearing material with main component ofSWCuPb24Sn1 is studied. By experiment, suitable raw material and thetreatment are concluded accordingly; Quality-affecting elements suchas technical parameter and process of sintering, rolling, annealing arestudied; Main quality indexes of hardness, bond strength, fatigue strengthare detected; Microstructure of alloy powder and Cu-Pb alloy is observedand analyzed by microscope and SEM.1. Experiments results show that carbon content of steel plate should be0.04—0.08%, extensibility 8>35%.2. Testing results and detecting results also show that by technique ofsintering and resintering, annealing and rolling three times, requirements of both hardness and density of alloy can be met. Withhardness of HB30-HB40 and extensibility 8>35%, the alloy issuitable for flanging. And with relative density of 99%, the alloy canbe electroplated twice or trice. So quality Steel-copper alloy bimetallicflanged bearing material can be obtained.3. Metallurgical bond is formed between Cu-Pb alloy and steel base, andthe bond strength can reach 120—139MPa, and fatigue strength canreach 150Mpa after whirling 1.44×10~7 times.
