The article mainly aimed at home and abroad develpning status ofRapid prototyping, considering how to pick-up unbeknown geometricalparameter exactly of practicality model, ultimately structuring practicalitysample. Especially to liberty curved surface, for pick-uping practicalitygeometrical parameter, facing practice application, using different methodto finish construction of typical curved surface, measured data is used todifferent method of Rapid prototyping. It includes the following content:1. We study mainly in aspect of selection of CMM probe, programming ofmeasuring track, deciding of measuring mode and selection of measuringincrement to reduce the measuring error. Especially we bring forward thesettle project of identification and extraction of solid sample and preciseorientation of different face position.2. The theory and experiment of curve and face modeling of NURBS wereexplored and validated by experiment. At the same time, some of theindustry products were demonstrated accordingly to the coordinatemeasuring machine.3. Using computer technology and measured data to simulate, on the basisof simulating to process Rapid prototyping and numerical controlprogramming machining. Via different method to mastery relation anddifference one another.4. Based on the 3-axis coordinate measurement to machine Iron Tooling,adopt effectual measure of cutting down Iron Tooling manufacture error,improve machining precision of silica gel. This is of great significance tothe practical manufacture.
