In this paper, an emulsification-High-voltage electrostatic field method was uesed to microencapsulate the ligustrazine hydrochloride (LTH) with 9d of slow- releasing time. This method not only meet the need of medicine, but also is a new way of microencapsulating water-solubilitiy materiels, and widened the application of LTH and the high-voltage electrostatic generator.According to the limit of high-voltage electrostatic generator and experimental conditions, sodium alginate was chosed as membrane wall and LTH was chosed as core materiel, since LTH has remarkable water-solubility, it will make the envelop rate of LTH microcapsule decreasing if only using the high-voltage electrostatic generator to microencapsulate LTH. Therefore combining high-voltage electrostatic microencapsula- tion and emulsification to prepare the LTH microcapsules was studied. The results showed that the perfect microcapsules can be prepare with this new method. The influence parameters of preparing microcapsules such as: voltage, emulsification concentration in oil phase, volumetric proportions of solution to oil phase, volumetric proportions of NaAlg to emulsion were discussed. Preparation parameters were optimized with the index envelop rate, analysis showed that the voltage had remarkable affection to preparation. Under the condition of optimal parameters, LTH microcapsules which can slowy release for about 4d and envelop rate is 31.0%. The reason of low envelop rate maybe is high-voltage electrostatic damaging stability of emulsion. So the gelatin(Gel) was added into solution in order to enhance the emulsion stability.Under the conditions : 1.0% of NaAlg, 24kV of voltage, 10% of Gel, 5:1 of LTH concentration, volumetric proportions of NaAlg to emulsion was 1/20, 5% of CSP80, 5 ofФ. The LTH microcapsules with the diameter of 200~250μm, envelop rate of 72.7%, the carrier rate of 4.91% and slow-releasing of about 9d were obtained. The results showed that The LTH microcapsule have a good slow-releasing effect, and can improve the envelop rate of LTH.
